WOODEN ROBOT

In a world of pre-packaged and over-produced music, Wooden Robot combines influences of Blues and Classic Rock with the style and emotion of today’s Alternative-Rock genre in order to breathe life and soul back into Rock and Roll and bring the music they love to the mainstream. Consisting of Erik Jepsen (vocals, piano), Jeff Martin (bass), Dante DiRusso (drums), and co-founders Steve Banbury (lead guitar, sax) and Kyle Milner (rhythm guitar, back-up vocals), Wooden Robot has been spreading the good word of rock throughout the Los Angeles and SoCal regions since 2007 playing venues from the Coach House, Saint Rocke, Viper Room, House of Blues, and The Whisky. Gaining momentum, fans and praise after every performance, the group has established themselves as a premiere Los Angeles Alternative-Rock band. Their freshman album "Unless They're Weird, Your Kids Will Eat It" has been climbing the rankings at IndieCharts.com and tracks from the album have started gaining online radio airplay and have also landed spots on the sound track for the upcoming Steelyard Pictures film The Power of Few! After hosting an extremely successful CD Release show at the Viper Room in Hollywood, the guys are in the midst of putting together their first regional tour. Booking shows all along the coast starting in San Diego, and making their way through Los Angeles, and San Francisco with a possible stop in Phoenix Arizona and Tempe, Wooden Robot is looking to hit the road to continue bringing their energizing live show and undeniable sound to the masses.
